MUSIC DIRECTING
As a music director, Nancy loves to create a space where everyone feels welcome, and strives to bring out the best in all involved. She communicates well with actors, pit musicians and creative teams. She is currently working as the Associate Music Director for the world premiere of Wonder at the American Repertory Theatre, with music by Ian Axel and Chad King (A Great Big World), and Music Supervision by Nadia DiGiallonardo.
Previously, Nancy has been the Associate Conductor/Keys 2 player on the First National Tour of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, and the Lulu National Tour of Waitress. As Associate Music Director of Evita at the American Repertory Theatre and Shakespeare Theatre Company, Nancy stick conducted a 14 piece live orchestra.

As Founding Music Director of CNY At Rise Productions, Nancy music directed many musicals including Band Geeks (2019), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2018) and tick, tick… Boom! (2016). Band Geeks, for which Nancy served as both Music Director and Artistic Director, was nominated for five SALT (Syracuse Area Live Theater) awards in the community theater category including Musical of the Year and Best Musical Director. At Berklee, Nancy music directed for the Berklee Summer Musical Theater Workshop, Berklee Curtain Up, Theater for Young Audiences, Musical Theater Writing courses, Musical Theater Club Gala, Musical Theater Orchestra, Bechdel Theater Group, and a new work at Boston Conservatory.
