MUSIC DIRECTING

As a music director, Nancy loves to create a space where everyone feels welcome, and strives to bring out the best in all involved. Most recently she was the Associate Music Director for the world premiere of Wonder at the American Repertory Theatre, with music by Ian Axel and Chad King (A Great Big World), and Music Supervision by Nadia DiGiallonardo.

Nancy loves working on new musicals and collaborating with writers and actors. She has music directed workshops including Tempus (music and lyrics by Jonatha Brooke) and Charles Dickens' David Copperfield  (music and lyrics by Jeffrey Scharf).

Previously, Nancy has been the Associate Conductor/Keys 2 player on the First National Tour of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, and the Lulu National Tour of Waitress. As Associate Music Director of Evita at the American Repertory Theatre and Shakespeare Theatre Company, Nancy stick conducted a 14 piece live orchestra.

Nancy is originally from Central New York, where she was the Founding Music Director of CNY At Rise Productions, Nancy music directed many musicals including Band Geeks (2019), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2018) and tick, tick… Boom! (2016). Band Geeks, for which Nancy served as both Music Director and Artistic Director, was nominated for five SALT (Syracuse Area Live Theater) awards in the community theater category including Musical of the Year and Best Musical Director.
