MUSIC DIRECTING

As a music director, Nancy loves to create a space where everyone feels welcome and to bring out the best in all involved. She communicates well with actors, pit musicians and creative teams. Nancy was recently the Associate Conductor/Keyboard player for the Lulu National Tour of "Waitress." Nancy also has experience stick conducting live orchestras and studio sessions with both singers and instrumentalists.

Nancy has music directed many musicals including Band Geeks (2019), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2018) and tick, tick… Boom! (2016). Band Geeks, for which Nancy served as both Music Director and Artistic Director, was nominated for five SALT (Syracuse Area Live Theater) awards in the community theater category including Musical of the Year and Best Musical Director. At Berklee, Nancy music directed for the Berklee Summer Musical Theater Workshop, Berklee Curtain Up, Theater for Young Audiences, Musical Theater Writing courses, Musical Theater Club Gala, Musical Theater  Orchestra, Bechdel Theater Group, and a new work at Boston Conservatory.
