NANCY O'CONNOR

Nancy is a music director, pianist, arranger, composer, singer, and voice over artist. She was the Associate Conductor/Keyboard player for the Lulu National Tour of "Waitress." 

Nancy was recently the Associate Music Director of Evita at the American Repertory Theatre and the Shakespeare Theatre Company, and is currently working as a conductor sub, keys sub and rehearsal pianist on Titaníque Off Broadway. She is known for her ability to communicate well with actors, pit musicians, and creative teams. Nancy has a B.M. in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music, with minors in Conducting for Musical Theater and Musical Theater Writing.

Nancy is originally from Central New York, where she was involved in community theater at CNY Playhouse, The Redhouse, Rarely Done Productions, and Appleseed Productions. While there, she was the Founding Music Director of At Rise Productions, a Central New York-based theater company. As such, Nancy served as Music Director for several musicals, including Band Geeks (2019), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2018) and tick, tick…BOOM! (2016). Band Geeks, for which she served as both Music Director and Artistic Director, was nominated for five SALT (Syracuse Area Live Theater) awards in the community theater category including Musical of the Year and Best Musical Director.
