Nancy is a music director, arranger, pianist, composer, singer, and voice over artist. She is known for her ability to communicate well with actors, pit musicians, and creative teams. She currently works as an accompanist and in-house arranger for Boston Children's chorus.
Nancy is studying Contemporary Writing and Production with minors in Conducting and Musical Theatre Writing at Berklee College of Music. She is the Music Director for Berklee’s Bechdel Theater Group, a student-run organization that focuses on producing shows that feature women and queer actors and characters.
As a songwriter, Nancy primarily writes musical theater-style music. She wrote the music for two cabarets of original musical theater and released several songs on Spotify and other streaming services, including “Which Way to Neverland?” which was nominated for a Syracuse Area Music (SAMMY) Award, and was chosen for Berklee’s musical theater writing contest, Curtain Up.
Nancy is originally from Syracuse, NY where she was involved in community theater at CNY Playhouse, The Redhouse, Rarely Done Productions, and Appleseed Productions. While there, she was the Founding Music Director of At Rise Productions, a Central New York-based theater company dedicated to providing teenagers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a theatrical production. As such, Nancy served as Music Director for several musicals, including Band Geeks (2019), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2018) and tick, tick… Boom! (2016). Band Geeks, for which she served as both Music Director and Artistic Director, was nominated for five SALT (Syracuse Area Live Theater) awards in the community theater category including Musical of the Year and Best Musical Director.
